After graduating from Widener University School of Law in 2003, Bianca Sangiovanni-Marchetti served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas E. O’Brien, who served in Ocean County at the Superior Jersey of New Jersey in 2004.
After serving as a clerk, Mrs. Marchetti joined Robert C. Shea & Associates in 2005. During her time at this law firm, she worked as an associate for personal injury and municipal law. The duties of her position included assisting clients as they sought compensation for injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall cases, and motorcycle accidents.
For several years, she worked as a public defender in Brick, Lakewood, Manchester, and Point Pleasant townships. By 2006, Mrs. Marchetti was ready to venture out independently, opening a solo law practice.
For 20 years, she has provided knowledgeable representation for clients facing family law matters, including (but not limited to) divorce, marriage dissolution, restraining orders, domestic violence, child support, and child custody. She also represented those who needed help with criminal law matters, personal injury cases, real estate cases, guardianships, business acquisitions/ABC transfers, and municipal/traffic law.
Sheila Tobin, Esq graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2003. Ms. Tobin participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic representing children in court. She clerked for one year for the Honorable Peter V. Ryan, J.S.C. in Essex County, handling non- martial relations including child support, child custody, and domestic violence.
She has 20 years in the practice of criminal law that includes trials, motions to dismiss, motions to suppress evidence or statements, motions to sever cases or charges, and graves waiver to reduce the mandatory sentencing on gun charges.
She has tried cases involving murder, robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, theft, shoplifting, and guns. She has obtained successful verdicts after trial on behalf of some of her clients. Her practice focuses on family law, criminal law, and municipal court cases.
